Major Design Elements Considered :

Usage of Space :

           Each  Rooms shape , height, access or connectivity, arrangement of furniture, Doors & 
           windows
           Playing with Levels ( ex. Sunken hall ,high level dinning, intermediate balcony from stairs etc)

Usage of Light :
           Introducing Light well in the building ( ground floor hall)
           Staircase wall can be treated with patterned openings of brickwall
                                                                                             ( glass can be adopted in openings)
           Shadow effect may be brought inside through pergollas or wall opening in light well
           Living room spaces can be treated with patterned openings

Usage of Landscape:
           Plant wells ( micro pots surrounded by pebbels) of micro size (1.5ft x1.5ft) can be adopted in 
           living rooms & bedrooms.
           Roof garden with bamboo or other element to reduce heat gain
           Verandah (nr kitchen) and carparking space to be landscaped with temporary seating

 Usage of Music:
          From the Entrance to the terrace floor , Semi –Artificial mild music that could be paused if
          necessary -can be adopted.

Usage of Water:
         Miniature static water bodies at the light well.
         Miniature movement water bodies ( natural without motor)  @ Living room spaces like gutter
         with stones & pebbles to create running sound.

Anthropometry:

            Kitchen – special design consideration  for storage & handling of kitchen units.

Interior:

                Cost Effective materials ( Textures or Photo Frames inAuroville)
                Individual Concepts can be made for each rooms
                Bringing Traditional old marthandam Look in ground  floor bedroom
